Printing from IE 6

I have 2 HP printers installed, when is set to print
letter, the other is legal. If the default printer is
letter and I print through internet explorer and select
the legal printer, IE changes my driver to letter. I have
tried this with different HP printer combinations, 4000,
4100, 4200, 4300, lj 5, 8150, all have the same results.
 
That is what I would expect.
IE takes its settings from the default printer.
