have unloaded and reloaded the drivers and its not a usb cable issue since
Com dtects what kind of printer im using...jsut wont print. HP is saying
thsat threy do not have any vista compatible drivers for commerical use? What
is this suppose to make me go buy a new printer? My Photosmart 8450is still

I've got the same problem....sort of. I just bought a new laptop with vista
Home Premium. Trying to install my Dell A940 printer/scanner & I get the
same thing. The Vista driver doesn't seem to work. However, I did go to
Dell's site & get the Vista-approved drivers....but it's still not working
for them either.

Not sure what's more frustrating....not getting a printer installed or
having the dial-up connection disconnect every 3 minutes (another problem)

Hello - Yup same problem HP provided drivers for Vista internally and they
dont work.. HP's solution was for me to load different drivers for other
printers and maybe just maybe another driver will work lol. Im not sure who
to be pissed off at ? Microsoft or HP ?

The drivers are included on the Vista DVD. Did you follow the instructions
on the HP website:
