PRINTING ENVELOPES

WHEN PRINTING ENVELOPES IF THE OMIT BUTTON IS NOT CHECKED NOTHING PRINTS, IF
IT IS CHECKED THE ENVELOPE PRINTS AS IT SHOULD. WHY?
 
What version of Word are you using and what patches are installed?

To clarify, are you saying you have a Return address entered for an
envelope and if you do not place a check in the checkbox next to
"Omit" it will not print? And if you do place a check in the checkbox
next to "Omit" it will print?
