Printing blank pages and garbled script

My HP Deskjet 870CXI printer will only print blank pages
and garbled script when images are sent to it. It seems
to have started since I had a new hard drive and Windows
XP installed. I've tried removing the old driver and
installing the new one, but it makes no difference. Any
Ideas?

When you uninstalled and reinstalled, did you follow the instructions at:

http://www.coribright.com/Windows/Article One.htm

If you missed out on Step 4, you're using the old corrupted drivers still
and that's the root cause of your problem.
