Printing Assistant isnt printing

I am using the Outlook Printing Assistant but nothing prints out. I can see
my appointments on the screen but they dont print. Any ideas?
 
could it be that the appts were created in 2003. I saw a post along those
lines here and wondered if that is doing it.
 
Easy enough to test it - make some in Outlook 2007 and see if they print...

What printer do you use?
