Printers

I have XP Pro on one machine and XP Home on another,
on the one with XP Pro I can just select a printer right click
and chose from the menu to rename the printer.

On my XP Home machine if I do the same there is no option
to rename the printer. Can anyone explain why this should be.

Are you networking the printer on these machines?

No printers on the XP machines they are connecting to a network. The
computers on the network that have printers attached are Win98se machines.
