Printer treated as Removeable Device

Printer is recognized as a Removeable Device with an icon placed in the
bottom tray. When I click on the icon, the printer is listed & options to
stop , etc. Printer also hangs-up with CPU usage at 100%. I can clear the
print queue of all but one of jobs, then it hangs also. If I turn the
printer off, back on it will not print. I have tried leaving it on and it
will work for a little while, then lock up again. I have uninstalled and
reinstalled the software, USB cable as instructed, but the reinstall is still
treated as a Removeable Device. Printer is HP PSC1350. Previously worked OK.

Have you Tried to add the printer manually. Is there a Media Card Reader on
the Printer.
