I need help! My printer has started printing a status page a
the start of every print command and I
would like to shut it off but I don’t know how. I send numerous prin
commands throughout the
day and don’t need the status page printed. I’m not sure if this is
function of the printer driver or
a function of windows. I’m running windows 98, and using a hp laserje
4L printer. Please help.
The status page it’s printing looks as follows,

@PJL JOB NAME = “MSJOB 10"
@PJL USTATUS JOB = ON
@PJL USTATUS PAGE = OFF
@PJL USTATUS DEVICE = ON
@PJL USTATUS TIMED =

Are you talking about a separator page?

If so look you can turn it off in the printer properties screen.
(Start--> Settings--> Printers), Select your printer.

Printer--> Properties --> ....

Look for something that mentions separator page and set it to none.
