Printer Spooing Has Stopped

All my printers have disapeared from the Printers and Faxes window on my
laptop. When i connect a printer to the laptop by usb i get the error message
"Printer Spooling has stopped" In msconfig Printer Spooling is listed as
stopped. In services under Admin Tools, Printer Spooling is listed as
automatic. restarting the laptop does nothing.

any ideas?

Hey,

In Services under Control Panel > Administration Tools, please search for
Printer Spooler and make sure that it is started. If it is not started,
please click Start and see if it will start.

If it will not start, please go to Event Viewer under Administration Tools
too, and check the Systems log. See if there are any errors related to
Printer Spoolers and post them here.
