printer sharing on xp home

I have win2000, and have new MFC BROTHER 8500 printer
insatalled and have shared with new xp computer.

I CAN SEE BOTHE PC'S ON TNE NETWORK.

THEY SHARED TO EACHOUTHER EXCEPT THE PRINTER.
HOW SHOULD I SHARE THE PRINTER IN XP.

Although you don't actually say this, I'm presuming the printer is attached
to the W2K PC.

On the Win2K PC go to the Control Panel and click on Printers & Faxes.
Right click on the printer and select Properties.

Ensure the Shared name in the Sharing Tab of the Printer is less than 12
characters/number with NO SPACES in it.... the look in the Security Tab and
ensure that EVERYONE is given the correct permissions.
