I have a home network, and for some reason my wife's laptop can't
access our printer. We get an access denied message. The funny thing
is this randomly fixes itself . It will work, then it wont. Does
anyone have a clue on this?

Well its just a workgroup, so my wife is logged on to her machine. The
actual message was unable to connect or access denied. I think it
might have to do with her wireless connection, but that doesn't
explain why it would work, then stop then work again.

Tony,

Does sound like a strange situation. I'm not really a computer expert, so I
hope someone with more knowledge will be able to assist ya.. You may want to
repost the topic in the network section....

Still, I know that the access of shares on the network will require each
computer to be set up with the same passwords/user names... The difference
can be related to logging onto network as guest (autheticate as guest) or
Autheticate as User..

A MVP by the displayname of MALKE has posted a response regarding this matter.

Do a search for his name under english...That will bring up all posts by him
in english. I am not sure which area...
