printer is only printing in red

I have re-installed the printer and the corresponding
driver, yet this problem remains and the troubleshooter
doesn't cover it, any ideas?
 
Your print cartridges may be at the end of their life of perhaps need
cleaning.. refer to your printer manual on how to do this..
