Printer control codes

I have a computer that runs windows 98 and I use it with my MS-DOS programs.
I havs just picked up a "HP Laserjet 4" printer. When I print from the dos
programs
I get good quality but can not print expand print or double high letters. I
have change
the printer codes in the programs, but can not find the correct code.
Have tried <27 119 1> and many more. mostly by guess. The other codes, bold,
compressed print
etc. work great.

Can you help with the code for larger printing, like headings???
