Printer always offline

When I restart or start up windows xp the printers always go offline, I have
to manually go in and bring them to online everytime. What can be done to
have them as online when restarting or starting up my computer?

1. Turn off the printer
2. Press and hold the left side of the "Item" and "Value" buttons o
the top of the printer
3. Turn the printer back on while continuing to hold the buttons
4. The screen should say "Reset Maint Counter", then release th
buttons
