Printer alignment

I just put in a new black cartridge but I can't find a
way to manually align it?

My printer only prints out 3 or 4 letters and then starts
making an awful noise and prints crazy.

I have a Hewlett Packard, Desk Jet 692C. Do Printers go
try? Can they be lubricated?

As HP might say... not a user serviceable option....

Sounds like something has 'gone' inside.... and it's an old printer.
Probably not worth repairing.... would cost you more to repair than
purchasing a nice new shiny printer with a guarantee that will connect via
USB, print faster and in better resolution than the old HP.

Yes, eventually, all printers do end up in that great printer heaven in the
sky. It's had a good run. But it's time. My comiserations. But you'll
enjoy the new one even more.
