Print Window takes long, long time to open

I'm using Outlook 2003 on WinXP Pro printing to network printers. On one
machine, it takes a long, long time for the print window to open to choose
options after typing File / Print, or Cntl + P. I have downloaded &
installed all patches & updates with no changes. This is the only machine on
the network with this problem, and all users experience the same problems
when signed on to this machine. The users on any other machine do not have
this problem. Once the window finall opens and click OK to send the job to
the printer, it is fine.
Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions to resolve this problem? I
appreciate any assistance. Thanks!
 
Does this problem occur only when printing from Outlook? Have you tried to
delete the printer, reboot, and then re-add the printer?
 
Thank you! It is only occurring when printing from Outlook. When I print
from Excel, the print dialog box opens quickly as expected! Although I had
deleted and re-added the printer, I did this again with a cold reboot.
Unfortunately, the extremely slow print dialog window is still happening. I
logged on as a different user, and still experience the same problem.
 
I don't think there are any Add-ins. I did try the detect & repair earlier
today, there were no changes. Sorry I didn't include that info in earlier
post.
