Microsoft office is office 2003 with SP3 , My machine suffers from this error
although i have patched it to the latest updates from Microsoft update , I
have Mcafee Viruscan Enterprise 8.5.0i
and i have disabled access protection when outlook startes but it did not
solve the problem

Are you using Word as your e-mail editor? Then the first time you reply,
Word needs to be started (and loaded into memory) as well. If you are having
Word add-ins, this could cause an additional delay as well.

Note that disabling access protection is not the same as disabling McAfee's
integration with Outlook. The integration components will still get loaded;
it just doesn't do anything anymore. See McAfee's documentation on how to
fully remove its integration with Outlook.

sorry for big delay for feedback,as for my problem i do not think it is a
mcafee problem as i monitored its logs alll outlook and winword actions are
enabled , is therea way to enale extended logging of outlook and winword when
starting a new message , could it be related to Internet explorer 8 as i use
html as the default format of messages

Thanks for your support and cooperation
