Print Spooler Stop Working after Upgrade to SP2

Hi Guys,


Wondered if anybody has any Ideas on how to resolve the following:-

I installed SP2 yesterday on a laptop, now the laptop refuses to print.

I checked out the Spooler and it in stopped. I restarted it and it stopped
and then restarted and then stopped again.

I have run the cleanspl.exe on the machine which is supposed to reset the
spooler to default but i'm still getting the same problem.

Anybody any clues?

It's a Xerox XK50cx but I've completly unistalled it and all other print
drivers using the cleanspl.exe

Even with the printer unplugged and no drivers installed the Spooler still
shuts down.

If it's a multi-function unit, it probably uses dependencies. See the
correct way to clean everything up at
