print spooler problem with Vista

When I try to add a printer I'm getting the "The local print spooling service
is not working and to restart the spooler or restart the machine"

I tried everything. Restarting, uninstalling the printer driver, which I
downloaded from Lexmark website, trying to start the print spooler,
everything. It's not working for me.

HELP PLEASE
