Print Spooler

I attempted to print and there was a windows print error (I didnt note it),
then when I went into the printers, there were none there. I attempted to
click "Add Printer" and got a message stating that the spooler isnt started
and recommended I restart, and after restarting nothing changed. I checked
Services and saw print spooler was off, and the description was this jumbled
mess: ·þÎñÃèÊö.
I changed the spooler to automatic start and then clicked start, and now my
printers are back. Anyone have an idea whats going on and why the
description is ·þÎñÃèÊö?

Thanks, I have edited the description to read Print Spooler.
Do you have any idea what would shut off this service?
