print spooler: jobs don't get deleted

Christine

Hi,
I use win xp pro, and I have a problem with the spooler. For all
printers (laserprinter, deskjet, pdfwriter, fax) it shows the
following behavior:
when printing, the job in the spool queue has status "printing". After
finishing, the status is "sent to printer". It stays like that, and
when I reboot my pc, all old jobs get printed again. I have to
manually delete all print jobs, which is annoying and time consuming.

What can I do to solve this?

Uncheck the enable Bidirectional support in properties page of the printer under ports, that resolved our problem.
