print history

I have a single windows xp machine with a hp laserjet connected to it. Is
there a way that I can review what has been printed to the laserjet? We are
trying to find the name of an old file. Our system crashed and our computer
"expert" reinstalled windows on a new hard drive he added.

Get that old hard drive back from your tech. support person and as to have
the file retrieved from the old drive.

No, AFAIK.....

I know that some laser printers have a built-in hard drive, but beyond that
I don't know of any utilities that can retrieve information from the
printer.
