Prevent logging out

Can anyone tell me how to prevent Windows XP from logging
out after being left unattended for a few minutes?
 
Are you being totally logged out of the machine or is the machine just in a
locked state due to the activation of the screensaver?
If so just disable the password lock on the screensaver in control panel ->
display.
