I spent a fair amount of time Googling around, using variations of
"Windows XP Performance Log and Alert snap-in" and got lots of
interesting sites. From a cursory viewing of a number of these sites,
it would seem that you need to have a separate program to view logs
created with the snap-in. However, I was skimming the information
quickly and didn't find a definitive answer for you.
I'd suggest that you do some Googling yourself, and also post your
question in one of the server groups since many of the regulars posting
there are sysadmins and will know the answer immediately. You might try
microsoft.public.windows.server.general to start, or look at this list
of all the MS newsgroups to find one that you think will be a better
fit for your questions:
