.ppt file written to CD & opened in Win 98

My uncle has a .ppt file which was written to CD on a Win XP Home machine
with PowerPoint 2000 and then opened on a Win 98 machine with PowerPoint
2000. On the Win98 machine the photos are very large so only the corner of
the photo shows in the presentation. The screen resolution is 1024x768 & 32
bit on both machines.

Any help would be appreciated!

Since you are using PowerPoint 2000 on both ends and also run the same
resolution on both monitors, you should have no such problem. In fact you
should have no such problem normally even if the resolutions and versions
were different.

Can you try opening it in a third machine and see if there are still errors?

Also, you could try reducing graphic acceleration and see if that helps:
