Image converts to a reverse negative image from PPT 2000 to PPT 20

I have a PowerPoint presentation that was created in Office 2000 and when
opened in Office 2003, it did some interesting things. When I opened the PPT
in Office 2003 one of the logos consistently translated into a reverse
negative image. I burned the same PowerPoint onto a CD and found that when I
opened the PPT in an Office 2000 or lower machine, the images viewed correct.
When I viewed the images on Office 2003 machine, the image (logo) was
reversed. The reason for this concern is 10’s of thousands of CD’s are made
for a number of training classes each year and having a logo with an
incorrect branding image could create some legal issues. Any thoughts?

It's a bug in PPT.

This may help explain the reason for the problem and possible fixes:
