PP 2007 search mystery

In normal view, display the slide and notes...

When I search for a word, search will find the next slide with the word and
highlight that word on the slide or in the notes.

Frequently, PP 2007 will stop on a slide and I will find nothing
highlighted. I assume something was found, but I can't find it anywhere.

Known problem or pilot error?

I think I've got it.

When the search finds a word on the slide, it is highlighted. A subsequent
search finding the word on the same slide's notes will highlight the word in
the notes.

If search doesn't find a word on the slide but it does find the word in the
notes, that word should be highlighted, but it isn't (on my PP2007/Vista
workstation).

Did the same here. XP with PowerPoint 07.
If you will click at the beginning of the notes when that happens and click
find, it will then select the first instance in the notes area. Extra work,
but better than missing it completely...
