I have a presentation put together with Power Point 2007 and want to show it
from someone elses laptop that has PP 2000. With the presentation on a
flash drive, will I be able to display my original slides and notes on the
laptop as I display the slides on the screen? What is the best way to
proceed?

I don't remember for sure, but I think that PowerPoint 2000 has
Presenter View, but you are likely to have problems with compatibility.
There are lots of features in 2007 that don't work in 2000.

Hi

I had to look into this recently for a client - 2000 doesn't have presenter
view as such, but it does support multiple monitors so if you work in
extended desktop mode you can have Normal (edit) view on one screen and
Slide Show view on the other. For more info see here:

I think David's other point is very, very valid - you could have all sorts
of compatibility issues (or none depending on the nature of the file),
particularly with animation.
