powerpoint slide transition problem

I have a short presentation with slide transitions on each slide which work fine until I add a wav file to the first slide that plays throughout the presentation. The only way slide one will transition is manually clicking it then the rest of the presentation works fine

If I delete the wav file, the first slide transitions fine. Can anyone help with this?

Thanks for the replies - but the problem is not that the sound doesn't continue - it does, it's just that the first slide will not transition to the 2nd automatically. If you manually click the transition for the first slide the rest of the presentation continues on exactly as it should, music and all
I just need to find a way to get the 1st slide to transition to the 2nd. I already went into slide transition and checked transition automatically after 5 seconds, but it won't move

Thanks.

You might have an object on the slide that is set to animate on mouse click.
The object could be hidden under something else, or it could be invisible or
off the slide. Tab through all of the objects on the slide to see if you
can find one that you aren't taking into consideration.
