PowerPoint Slide Designs

Is it possible to have different slide designs on the slides throughout a
presentation. If I have a certain design on the first slide and I want a
different design on the next one, it changes the first one to the design I
chose for the next one. Can anyone tell me how to choose different slide
designs for different slides within a presentation? Thanks,

What version of PowerPoint are you using?
For PowerPoint XP/2002 and above, multiple masters are supported.
If you are using 2000 or below, there are workarounds such as linking
presentations.

This feature is only available in 2002 and above. Choose Slide Design in
the Format menu. Look on the right side of the screen. Find the design you
want and point to it, but don't click on it. You should see an arrow (for a
pull-down menu) on the right side of the design. Click the arrow and choose
Apply to Selected Slides. That should only change the current slide. Hint:
if you do this in Slide Sorter View, it is easy to select several slide to
apply the same design to at the same time.
