Powerpoint doesn't find my cd/dvd burner

I am using Powerpoint 2003 and I have a presentation I want to put on cd to
run on it's own. I am trying to use the pack and go but I am getting an error
message that says that there was no recording device found. I have used my cd
burner and I know it works.... any suggestions???

If your putting it on to a CD I would use the package for CD option and copy
to File instead of Pack and Go, then use your CD burning software to copy
the files to your CD
