Is this a CD/DVD Burner?

Is this a CD/DVD Burner? Or just a player? How do you know?

I have a [LITEON DVD-ROM LTD163]. This info is from "Device Manager".
Just curious, they all look the same...

The name is "LITEON _DVD-ROM_ LTD163"
ROM = Read Only Memory which means no burning and it reads DVD and CD media.
