Powerpoint crashes when uploading 1MB movie

I am trying to add a 12-15 second clip thats 1.3MB to Powerpoint. However,
the program freezes when I try to do this. I tried with a 500KB and that
uploaded within a few seconds. Does PP have restrictions of the file sizes
allowed on movies being added? Thanks.

No real limit to size of media being inserted. I think the problem is in
the media itself. You might want to read this tutorial for a better
understanding.
