Power Users

I have Windows XP Home and I can't make people power users for some reason. It says that there is no group by the name Power User. This would make my computer safer and I would feel safer. Please help me soon.

The "Power Users" group does not exist in Windows XP Home
Edition. Why do you want to add the user's to a power
user group anyway, I was wondering about your statement:

"This would make my computer safer and I would feel
safer."

Do you want to clarify what you mean.

choose Manage
Click Local Users and Groups
Double click Groups

I see a group named Power Users.
I see no group name Power User.

sorry, my mistake.
I'm using XP pro.

Right click on My Computer
choose Manage
Click Local Users and Groups
Double click Groups

I just meant that I read somewhere (I think in PC World magazine) that is was safer to run as a Power User not an administrator because of viruses and trojan horses and that kind of stuff. Thanks for the help though.

WinXP Home does not have/recognize the Power Users group; that's a
feature of WinXP Pro.
