I keep getting this message - Power surge on Hub Port - A USB device has
malfunctioned and exceeded the power limits of its hub port. You should
disconnect the device.
The message recommends me to disconnect the hardware and click reset to
reenable the port. But I don't think I'll have the option to click reset once
I have powered down, removed the hardware, and powered up. I believe the
hardware in question is a DLink PCI adapter USB 2.0/Firewire combo. I would
like to have the card installed on my system. I'm using Windows XP (home
edition).
Does the mother board have to be upgraded to run this card?
