Power Surge Error Message

Since I installed Windows XP Service Pack 2, I keep
getting the following error message:

Power Surge on Hub Port
A USB device has exceeded the power limits of its hub
port. For assistance in solving this problem, click this
message.

When I click the message, it brings me to another screen
that says:
A USB device has malfunctioned and exceeded the power
limits of its hub port. You should disconnect the
device. The location of the device is shown in bold type.

Then, it shows a diagram of the USB Root Hub and its 6
ports. We only have our printer connected to a USB port
and don't use the others. The first four ports show
as "Unused" and the last two show "Unknown USB Device"
with the second to last one typed in bold type, which I
assume is the problem.

I have tried disconnecting the printer and clicking on
the Reset button (which they give you as a choice) but I
continue to get the same error message popping up. I
have no problems printing on my computer, even with this
error. I'm just not sure why it keeps happening and if
there is something I can do to fix this problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
