power options

i own a toshiba laptop, with 512mb ram 60gig hard drive,
2.4 ghz processor,

when i try to change the power properties to not
hibernate after 20 mins, under power options in control
panel, it says "to change power options, click ok, close
power options and use toshiba power options"

when i try opening toshiba power options, it goes to the
sand timer, but no window opens.

help please!

Hello Malcom,
You may want to go to Toshiba for help with this.
They are supplying their own power utilities which are superseceding the
included utilities.
