Power options

power options properties are all greyed out when i mouse over them to
change the settings.

running XP on a toshiba laptop with SP2, please can anybody help.

My Toshiba has it's own power settings program but it warns you when you try
to change the properties using the Windows utility. Check your start menu
for Toshiba Utilities or something like that. Mine also has a hardware
button that launches the utility.
