Power issues on my laptop

I am looking for info on how to fix a power issue on my laptop.
I have had it plugged in to the power outlet for the past 48 hours,
and yet my battery has not charged even 1%.

Does anyone know what mighgt be the issue and how i can resolve it?

It appears your laptop battery has entered the end of its useful
lifecycle and should be replaced with a new one.

Hello Carey..

I would agree with ou, except for one crucial issue... my laptop is brand
new... i've had it for 2 weeks exactly... this problem only began 2 days
ago.. is there a way to check the battery from my pc to see if it may not be
being accessed by my system properly?

If your laptop is "brand new", then you need to contact
your laptop manufacturer for support assistance.
