If you haven't updated your virus lists, do so now!

You shouldn't be waiting for a major virus outbreak to take this advice.

Norton's on my email machine on my LAN has been getting pounded by swen for
months now (several hundred quarantined.) I'm surprised you just now
started seeing it. novarg seems to be the new one.

I understand Swen is an older virus, and I don't know why
I have been hit by it so much recently. Ironically, I
have not had one Norvarg attack.

Thanks for your response!

Of course I update my virus lists regularly, I have
LiveUpdate set for Norton Anti-Virus 2004, and I also do a
manual LiveUpdate prior to a full system scan.

My parents for instance however, both in their late 70's
and still active and sound of mine, do not understand the
implications of these viruses and the punks that launch
them.

I would expect the majority of persons participating in
these newsgroups update virus lists and scan their full
systems regularly.

Thanks for you reply and have a great day!
