I am getting 50 - 70 of these (W32.Swen.A@mm) counterfeit Microsoft
messages per day.

They will fill my mailbox in one day. Often almost full before I ever get a
chance to delete them.

Is there something I can do to stop them?

Thanks,

Earl Brant

Nope, we are all getting spammed by these messages. Just delete them until
this craze is over. If you set blocking rules, you'll stop some of the
messages, but because they are always sent from different addresses and the
header is not the same, there is no way of blocking them. Get a good AV and
a program that doesn't let unauthorized installation of other programs like
Black Ice (which is also a great firewall app too)

Dear Earl:

Greetings from Canada! I hope this finds you and yours
well.

I keep getting the same thing, and the attached file
seems to be infected. I don't know how to get rid of it!
I don't believe for a minute that Microsoft is the habit
of sending infected files. If it did, it'd be back down
to a calculator company in no time.

In closing, if you find out anything, please contact me
at (e-mail address removed).

Thank you kindly and take care!!

Sincerely yours always,

(Ms.) Janie M. Hamilton.
