Ports 1026/1272

Hi,

I have just noticed that our Win2000 server is connecting
to all LAN clients using ports 1026 and 1272. This is
threatening to saturate the Network. Has anyone come
accross this problem recently? Windows messenger service
is disabled but the connections are still active.

Use tcpview from www.sysinternals.com to find out what application or
service is using those ports.
