Port Replicator and Graphics Card

I added a USB port replicator with a Video port to my laptop to avoid always
pluggng an unplugging peripherals. I also a an Nvidia card in my laptop for
video.

While my external monitor works when plugged directly into my laptop, it
won't work when plugged into the port replicator video port. The monitor
doesn't seem to get recognized.

Has anyone tried a port replicator with a video port? did you get it to work?

HITAdvisors,

Not being familiar with any of your hardware or software, including drivers,
I can only say that most of the causes of hardware not working properly is
because of drivers. A necessary driver is likely either incompatible or
missing from your system. In such cases, checking the manufacturer's website
for the latest drivers can solve your issue. Perhaps the instructions that
came with the port replicator includes information on how to enable graphics
support through the device. You could also check with the manufacturer of
the replicator to learn how graphics support is enabled through the device.
