Is there a command line that I can use to see what ports are in use and
by what applications?

Thanks

and NESTAT is the command to find out where your nest is at ;-)

John,

I have tried, netsata -an and that works. But I need to find the PID.

Long story, looked on Microsoft.com and found, netstat -ano

I am running Windows 2000 Pro, SP4. I have not "o".

So how do I obtain that PID?

Sysinternals, www.sysinternals.com , has a free tool called TCPView that
will give you PIDs.

Thanks Louis. That is what I did, and it works.

Just can't understand why a Microsoft Compliant company causes me to jump through so many hoops just to install.

Thanks again.
