POP3 Account and Address book

Hello All,

I'm using POP3 accounts in my company and I've configured outlook to use
these accounts like you work using Exchange Server.

My problem is, when you compose a new mail you have to type the full email
address there is no address book we can refer to for email address.

Is there is any solution for this problem.

Thanks

What do you mean by this? A POP3 account is not the same as an Exchange
account nor does it provide Exchange features.

Anyway, add the addresses you need to the Contacts folder and verify that
you have configured your Contacts folder to be included in the Address Book.
See http://www.howto-outlook.com/faq/contactsinaddressbook.htm

Hello Roady , Thanks for your replay

What i mean by " the same like Exchange" say I've 20 users so they emails
will be
user1@exchange .... and so on
I'm using the same user1@pop3

Just to simulate the exchange server.

For the below solution ,I've to do so for each machine , is there is a way
to centralize this ?

Aha, you mean you have a standardized email address format for your company.
That is still something totally different from an Exchange email account ;-)

Centrally managing an environment of 20 users is a good thing however, there
is no centralized address list for POP3 accounts so you cannot configure
Outlook to use it either. You might want to take a look at Small Business
Server instead; that includes Exchange as well. Then you can centrally
manage your entire email infrastructure and a whole lot more.
