The ABetterInternet, aurora-nail cr*p is hard to remove. Run a
HijackThis scan and post your log to *one* of the forums below (not
here, please). Make sure you read the posting FAQ first.

click start, control panel, select add/remove programs scroll through the
programs and find the program related to the abi network. You will have to
go to a website and download the uninstall program and run it. The
directions are on the site. It actually does work. When you et that done you
might want to read this.

jenger,
Try deleting them in Safe Mode, press F8 on boot-up, select Safe Mode.
The screen will look terrible, and you will get a warning about safe
mode. (normal)
Run your AV programs & Spyware apps., reboot normally.
Best,
Treeman
That might work for "normal" malware Treeman, but it won't remove
ABetterInternet and/or aurora-nail. See previous posts for answers.

Hi Malke,
I forgot to tell him to turn off system restore also!
I couldn't get rid of a spyware entry before I did that.
Just getting old. (grin)

Nonsense! Age is only in your mind. Now, if I could just get my body to
believe that... ;-)

Most of us techs suggest not turning off System Restore until the
cleaning has been accomplished. Then you can make a new clean Restore
Point and just get rid of all the others using the Disk Cleanup utility
(Run>cleanmgr).
