I don't know what happened, but if I open IE (default page
is blank) and then go to a page I always get a smiley,
voting or some other po-ups. I visit pages on my IE and
every single page brings a pop-up. I DON'T think it's the
page anymore because it's happening all the time. On
Google, Microsoft and other sites. I figured that
something downloaded on my computer. I tried to delete
TEMP files, cookies, offline content, I looked at objects
in IE (class files). I don't know whats happening and I'm
sure there is an easier when then reloading the system.
So, what's the deal! Any help ... please.

Hi!Ryan!
you may use quality pop-up blocker as well as a third party firewall.
The latest version of google toolbar has pop-up block option and it is
free too.

I would advise that you download and install spybot-
search and destroy. This program will get rid of programs
that "spy" on your internet use and give pop-ups like the
infamous gator software. Also, download a good software
firewall like zonealarm from www.zonealarm.com. That
program can help in stopping any programs from "leaking"
to the internet that you didn't authorize. I also think
everyone NEEDS a antivirus if your on the web. You can
download a free version of AVG from www.grisoft.com. For
pop-ups, you can get a pop-up blocker for free by
searching google or download the free open source web
browser Mozilla from www.mozilla.org. This browser will
block pop-ups and help in keeping your privacy safe by
blocking things like 3rd pary cookies. I personally think
it is much better that Microsoft's internet explorer
(there is less bugs too like any of Microsoft's windows
products, you need 50 patch's to fix the patch's and then
get the new version, then get more patch's). I hope this
will help you. Good luck.

Who the blazes is this ssg? Get SpyBot search and Destroy.
You have spyware on your OS. SypwareBlaster is also a free
tool and very good as well. SSG help if you can if you
can't shut up. Keep smiling.
