According to an IT guy I spoke with recently, he
indicated that Microsoft could very easily stop ALL pop-
ups from annoying ALL Internet Users. FREE, and all it
takes is setting one swith to 0 in the code.

DO IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In the probable billions of lines of code that MS has, where would that
switch be? Publishing this switch would earn you great publicity and
probably fame.

Until this happens, some other recent browsers support blocking popups and
there are numerous solutions for people who wish to use IE advert-free. I
won't be ironic and advertise these products but have a look around.
