Plusnet in bed with Tiscali ....

Hmmm, my step-mums with Plusnet - but its not such bad news really, they are just using Tiscali to access its Local Loop Unbundled infrastructure installed at exchanges, and they are likely to use other network suppliers as well.

This keep the costs down for Plusnet, as they don't have to install there own equipment, or buy from BT :thumb:

It doesn't matter who you go with ... just don't accept a USB modem ... ;)

Wonder if I'll ever get 8mb here ... oh, wishfull thinking.

Whats wrong with a USB Modem? Don't most people have to have one when going from 56k to broadband?? I have, should i change to a PCI ADSL Card then??

Oh jeez murdock - your only gonna start Mucks off again :D

No you don't have to have one, but connections are usually better and more reliable using a network cable into an ethernet LAN adapter.

If your working OK, don't worry about it :thumb:
