Plug & Play software emulation

I have accidently deleted the PLUG & PLAY SOFTWARE EMULATION from the device
manager due to the CODE 39 warning, whops big mistake! I also have the same
message for my 2 CD drives. This has made my CD drives inop. Can anybody help
me to restore my system so that the 2 drives are reconised by XP.
 
I do not think that this answers my problem, I have red through the artical
and can not see the answer to my query.
